HRFTA: Where did the name of your food truck come from?
I believe it would be easiest to name it from my first name. My previous restaurant was named after the previous owner.

  • Where are you based and what cities are you permitted? Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Portsmouth, Suffolk
  • What separates your food truck from the rest? Consistent quality of our foods. All meats are dry rub and smoked to completion. We offer a blend of Carolina, Kansas City and Texas style meats, sauces and our own special rubs.
  • What did you do before you owned a food truck? I was owner of a brick and mortar restaurant.
  • What do you like most about having a food truck? Meeting and serving people at many different venues. I love to prepare my BBQ foods for everyone to enjoy.
  • Why did you decide to join HRFTA? I wanted to be associated with a good group of people who work hard as I do in such a challenging and rewarding industry.
  • Why did you decide to open up a food truck? The excitement and enjoyment of catering and being around people everyday. I am out serving my BBQ to.
