HRFTA: What separates your food truck from the rest?
We offer slow cooked authentic Texas style BBQ in a wood burning smoker.

  • Types of food/treats sold? Texas style BBQ (brisket, ribs, chicken) served with homemade sides and soft drinks.
  • Where are you based and what cities are you permitted? Based out of Virginia Beach and currently hold Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Suffolk licenses. Will have Norfolk soon.
  • What did you do before you owned a food truck? ? I am currently a project manager for a national lighting contractor based out of Dallas Texas but would eventually want to transition into operating the BBQ business full time.
  • What do you like most about having a food truck? Providing people with a quality product and the social interaction with the community and other food trucks.
  • Where did the name of your food truck come from? The name came from the Red River which separated Texas and Oklahoma. Being from north Texas and only 60 miles south of the river the name seemed fitting.
  • Why did you decide to join HRFTA? I believe in supporting and sharing local business within the community.
