HRFTA: Types of food/treats sold:
#1 Queso Taco: fried Mexican Oaxaca cheese, with your choice of grilled steak, chicken, or Portobello mushroom, served on a hand pressed tortilla, and topped with mango habanero salsa, and house made creamy guacamole
#2 Street Taco: with your choice of grilled steak, chicken, or Portobello mushroom served on a hand pressed tortilla, and topped with roasted tomatillo and serrano green salsa and house made creamy guacamole
Drinks: Made daily and from scratch Horchata water, and cold press hibiscus tea.

  • Where are you based and what cities are you permitted? I’m based out of Chesapeake. I’m permitted in Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach.
  • What separates your food truck from the rest? Hand pressed tortilla, GMO free masa flour. Meats cooked over hardwood mesquite charcoal. A simple and fresh menu, that is authentic to Mexico and healthy. All salsa, marinades, tortilla masa blend, and drinks recipes are my own and made with fresh. I try to incorporate locally sourced ingredients.
  • What did you do before you owned a food truck? Prior to owning a food truck I have been catering for the last 4 years, and for the last 13 years I’ve been active duty in the United States Coast Guard.
  • Where did the name of your food truck come from? TacosMP, the MP is for Marco Panganiba
  • Why did you decide to join HRFTA? I’m new to the area and know that it is important to work with others that are in similar situation than you. Collectively we are stronger than individuals.
  • Why did you decide to open up a food truck?Love working 18+ hours days, love being inside a 110 degree sauna. Lol. I’m passionate about food, and changing the minds of those that think Mexican food can be fresh and healthy. The palate does not discriminate or care about what your political, religious, or life views are, so I love how it brings people together.
